Stopping apps on non-rooted devices

Stopping apps on non-rooted devices requires opening OS app's settings page, tapping force-stop, confirming the stop in the popup then closing that page and doing that for all apps to stop.

The app can show a black screen while all that screen flickering happens to enhance your experience, but you might have to enable draw over OS settings in developer settings for that to actually work.

Furthermore if screen is turned-off during the process, nothing will actually happen, sadly.

Beyond that, there's no way to make the process smoother, except using 3C Companion.
