Statistics

Battery statitics, a tab of Battery Manager, allow you to gather statistics per ROM, Kernel, profiles, battery or plug states as shown on screenshot.

You need to either add markers manually (in free version) or setup automatic markers in battery settings.

You can view statistics by type and either show detailed statitics, summarized statistics or cross-referenced statistics when multiple statistic's types are being registered.

Each marker/statitic has a name, followed by its precise time and duration (since previous marker, or total duration depending on the view).

Below the title, percent and voltage ranges are shown.

Statistics data can contain drains and/or charges information, each of which will show the screen-on (sun) and standby (moon) times along with the average %/h or mA during that period of time.

Tapping the %/h or mA data will switch unit on devices not showing both at the same time.

How to extends battery life

For information on how to extend your battery life, here is an interesting Wiki (see battery life chapter).

To extend battery life, the important points are those 2:

  • Keep battery cool, and avoid charging past 70% while using the device and creating over-heating.
  • You can discharge your battery fully (voltage going down to 3200mV) it won't hurt as 3200mV actual means 40% of battery capacity is left, which is the safe threshold mentioned in the Wiki above!

Additional options

In all screens additional options are available pressing the menu button in action bar:

  • Add Marker
  • Clear history
  • Clear estimates
  • Clear capacities
  • Test (not available on all devices, may not be accessible on recent devices)
